Ugg Tips and Tricks
Hey everyone!
Here are some quick tips on wearing Uggs! I myself am not a big fan of Uggs, but boy are they comfy! I get tired of seeing so many girls wearing them everyday, and sometimes I get so annoyed with the way they wear them! So here are some ways to keep them stylish and not tacky:
1. Don't wear your Uggs with shorts or mini skirts in the middle of the winter. It's flat out tacky, and no matter what kind of figure you have, it's weird looking on anyone. If you do wear them with shorts or skirts, don't pair them with a tank top, because it can make you look a bit trampy. Try a color shirt with a funky necklace. It can give a kick to the outfit and make it cute!
2. Uggs aren't usually meant to be worn with actual outfits, but if you happen to put your pair together with a cute dress and tights, DON'T OVERACCESORIZE! That can ruin the outfit and make it look overdone.
3. Remember, there are other boots out there that will go better with some tops and dresses. Invest in a cute pair of fringe boots or plain black or brown leather boots. They can take a look to big heights.
4. When wearing the shorter pair of Uggs, be sure to wear them with flattering jeans. The legnth on those boots can make a very tall and slim person look very stocky and short. Don't try and wear them with shorts, skirts, or jeans and a top or something like that. They can be really cute, but they can also make you look a way you don't want to!
5. If you don't have an extra $150 or so laying around to go splurge on a pair, try purchasing some similar ones. BearPaw, Minnetonka, and many other stores sell Ugg-type boots at a lower price and they look just as cute! I own a pair of chocolate brown BearPaws and I absaloutely love them!
6. Uggs are really cute, but don't just wear them with sweatshirts and shirts everyday. There are other options. Try paring them with a shirt and a cute cardigan over it, or a basic shirt with a funky necklace. Just be sure the colors don't clash and be sure that they match! You can even wear them with a solid dress...just don't make the dress to tight or short. A cute bubble dress would look cute.

Casual Set #1
EDIT: I forgot to put it in there, but instead of a necklace, I wore a plain black scarf. I completely forgot, but the necklace would work too!
I wore this last Monday to Starbucks and then to the movies. It's perfect for any day and easy to slip on. The boots are very "in" and the gray dress gives the oufit a classic-throwback.
Advice: Keep jewelry minimum, since you have on statment boots. A cute charm bracelet or little pendant around your neck should complete the look. And don't be afraid to put on some pink lipstick that pops!
